Who has heard of Checkmate Boats?

A buddy of mine is looking at buying a Checkmate 24' Vee Hull. Anybody have any experience with these?

Pretty well known boat here on the east coast..........I would say good quality for what they are. Kind of on the same lines as a Check Mate.

They make some of my favorite boats. Probably not enough bling for most of the people on here, but damn fine boats none the less.

I've sold a couple of them over the years. the people seemed happy with them. Not nearly the fit and finish
that the west coast custom builders give you though.
