For those that go to a brew pub, what is your favorite beer and what % strength is it?
And do they give you free peanuts in the shell?

I prefer to try the Hefs that they have, but will try anything.
I normally start with their lightest. Switch to a hef during the meal and then have a dark after the meal.
Then have momma drive home!

I'm real partial to the India Pale Ale, but the 7.25% makes it kind of a drag to drink to more than about 4 pints. Never used to like anything that wasn't a 'lite' or 'light' 'cause I always like to drink 10 or 20 or 30, rapidly. But this IPA is ADDICTIVE, it tastes great and I find I like it more and more all the time.
I'm getting a little more fond of this Russian Stout-it's way dark, but has a mild taste that is just plain NICE, but it's 13.9%!, and they don't let you take any out, in any form, (like your own Keg, growler, or even their bottles), but you can get the Bourbon barrel aged stuff in a Groelsh bottle for $12! I pass on that..(edit to add: only 1 day a week...)
The regular Russian is a brandy snifter type glass, maybe 10 oz, and not a pint like all other beers, for the same $4. 4 IPA's and a Russian, and you're good-not for very much, though.
And they give you all the peanuts you want-protein and carbs, a super diet. :D

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. The first one goes down quickly. The second almost just as fast and then third is when pain starts to go away. The fourth i'm dancing on the dance floor. The fifth pint of Sierra Nevada is the nail in coffin. There's something about it that just hits me just right. :)
