I preffer to pull it out just before I'm ready. I know some guys cover their stuff and some don't use the pull out method or the cover.:jawdrop:
I used the pull out method today, maybe I'll get lucky and get to do it again next week..........

If I'm in a hurry I can go around to the back and stick it in there.

just remember to re-pack your bearings frequently, use a drain plug and tie downs.

Did you at least wipe it off? Or did you just put it away wet?

Doesn't it seem like it's a lot more fun to take it out than stick it in???

I took mine down a road at the wrong time and it ended up all muddy. What a pain in the ass; if you know what I mean?;)

It's important to take it slow when going down a dirt road, especially if it's your first time down that road.

You really should ask permission first on that one, or make sure he's not around when it happens. :)

never take the dirt road after dining on mexican food earlier in the evening because you don't wanna get your mud flaps all dirty.

Gotta be careful not to tear the cover when putting it in. There's always the potential of breeding unwanted mussels too....among other things.
Always let it drain OUTSIDE if possible. Sometimes we get lazy and shove the thing in uncovered and drop anchor :) :D

I like to pull my out and just look at it. Sometimes... I think I am so lucky. I will usually lube it real good and then put it back. It seems to fit better when itÂ’s all lubed. :D  :)

I have always found it best to pull it out and slide it into the northern slip to drain excess fluids and for a quick wipe down before actually putting it away

Exactly...it just feels right when there's not much room on either side and it is in tight.
