I have been skidish to post lake trip picks here. Every one has such nice boats compaired to my little Tahiti. But here they are, we had a blast! For Lake San Antonio it is still considered pre-season, just my self and a hand full of others. It was pure glass on the water, was able to trim up hit WOT. Which brings me to a Jet boat forum topic. While I was out I think I saw 3 ski boats and 5 bass boats. :D Weather was mid 70's not to hot, but not cold enough to keep us off the water :D Nice to be able to BBQ, relax with friends, and not listen to every one compete with there stereo systems.

Nice pics. Looks like a good time. I perfer the smaller boats myself however I think it would be a blast to scoot across Havasu at a 100 plus in a big cat.

Lake San Antonio is about 30 miles north of Paso Robles, and there is also Lake Nacimiento. Both are fresh water lakes, and are a blast. North Shore San Antonio though is the only area that allows water front camping. :D Always packed in the summer, and never go there on a major holiday. :(

I grew up with a 16' Tahiti with a Merc 150 on the back. Haven't had a boat since that required so little work, that thing was indestructible!! I know the current owner, the engine is 29 yrs old, never been rebuilt & still runs perfect. It might only go 40mph, but it always goes.

Nice pics thanks for sharing:) The roots of boating go back to those 18ftrs :D I have a 1976 Tahiti sitting waiting for me to bring it back to life. Once this ole Hawaiian dies;)

Many a land lover would give their right arm to have what you have. It's nice to see that some one still wants to ride in a classic boat.
