The real nathan horns do sound completely different than the much cheaper knock offs. Plus in a train you are not limited to much smaller air reserve (much smaller tanks) and also on locomotives they are running 1 inch supply lines and valves. If one were to rig up the horns in the same manner as a llocomotive it would defintiely be a different Ball game :D

True, I have unlimited ability to blow the thing, and I do. I use the horn almost continuously through certain parts of town. Plus, I have an air compresser the size of a small truck...:D huge, shaft driven thing...

If you see this truck on the road and you cut him off you will get a chance to hear them, also if you are young, female, cute, and walking down the side of the road you will hear them.
