I'm thinking I want my boat closer to Havi, or at least closer to I40. Right now it's in Ft. Mojave, across from Avi. It's a nice place, but a bitch to backtrack when going to Havi instead of Laughlin.
What do ya'll pay, what size, and where's it located.
Anyone have extra garage space in Havi? :)

We store our boat at Campbell Storage in Havi, right by the Windsor launch ramp....we pay quarterly (every 3 mo.) $540.00 for a 30' unit. The place is great, 24 hr. security guard, onsite mechanics, onsite boat detailing, & many other services. We love it.

$135.00 month for 13 x 30, inside single unit. Oasis super storage in needles. Perfect place for me, since we often head to Bullhead to stay with family, but it is only 3 miles off the I40 if we are going to Havi....

Place pretty clean?
I was thinking about the one in Needles that's essentially a warehouse... you drop off you're boat and they put it where ever. No dedicated spot.
Anyone have experience w/ this kind of setup?

I think the place you're thinking of in Needles is called River Toys. My neighbor has kept his boat there for years and has never had a problem. I called them last week, they get $5/foot.
My boat is at Campbells, My space is a little more because it's 40x16 with a 14' wide door. I pay $240/mo, but the space is larger than most.

Good luck.

455,
Yep the place is very nice. They have bathrooms, a shower, and a place to wash your boat also. I would rather store in havasu, but we do head to bullhead often and this just makes more sense for us. They also have a person that lives on site and provides 24 hour security...They must be doing something right, theya re building more units like crazy....

$140 a month, and it's in a garage unit, right on LondonBridge Rd. Very acommodating and always someone to open up after hours.

Why are you guys paying so little? I can't believe that it is cheaper at the river than it is here in Phoenix. I pay $167.00 a month for covered at a Public Storage (company name) for 13 x 30.

it's called River Toys Boat & RV Storage, i like that place is halfway between Mohave and Lake Havasu, also you could @ Park Moabe (?) for a few hours.
you call him and he has your boat ready to go and they will puy your boat away. $5.00 a ft plus trailer.

should I include the house payment, since the storage is connected? before I moved to havi I used to pay 185/mo for a storage condo on London Bridge rd... lakeside storage, I think...

We pay ours yearly. It was 1800 for last year. If you pay cash up front they will give you the 13th month free. So it ends up being 138 per month for a 13x35 at Cambells. I like the place, they have security at night. People are very nice there as well.

If you go to both Mohave and Havasu then the best is Needles. While the Havasu house was being built we had the boat for the first 7 months at Spikes in Needles. Had a 40 footer for $120 a month. Right off the freeway so you get right back on to go to Havasu or continue on the AZ 95 or River Rd to go to Laughlin.

I agree. I have a 12x35 inside storage unit in Mesa that is running me $270 a month. Couldn't find covered storage and I am not going to store the boat out in the sun. So, I am stuck with this bill until sell the house in Oregon and buy here.
