Here's a few pics from the game on Sun. It was the 60th anniversary of Jackie Robinson's MLB debut and there was really an awesome pre-game ceremony.

I had the dugout seats for that game. Quite a good time, especially when you don't have to get up for food and everything is already paid for. :D

That's awesome. I'm sure you'll have a good time. There's nothing like a baseball game.

Very nice! We were in the right field all you can eat seats. Not a bad deal. Free hot dogs, peanuts, nachos, soda. And no line! It's always nice to sit in the pavillion, you always get spirited people out there. My friend was the one who started the wave both times.

Vin Scully, wow, how many years has he been in the booth? I love listening to him. I also love listening to Joe Gariogola and Mark Grace, also Rex Hudler aka "the Wonder dog", Good commentators make the game for me:) NSF

I didn't get to see the game, but I read about it the next day. I hear they were stealing bases like crazy. Most in a game since 1999 or something? That is very cool. Jackie Robinson was a true athelete and hero. I wish more sports players today were like him for the kids to look up to.

Vin Scully is legendary. It's going to be a very sad day when he passes. I feel lucky to have heard him through the years.

Wow, what a profound statement. Really, how long did it take you to come up with that? I mean seriously......I never knew a sports team could be homosexual? Thank you for bringing more of your wisdom to the boards.
You just reinforced the reason why I avoid all of your posts.

It was a very good game. Jackie would have been proud with the level of play. Robinson was a great man and it was a fitting tribute to him.
The reason why I admired Jackie the most because he was loyal. At the end of Jackie's career he was traded to the Giants. Instead of playing for the hated enemy he retired. That to me was amazing. You think you'll ever see that again? Not a chance. There will prob never be a day when one pplayer spends his entire career with one team.

Watched the Ceremony:D enjoyed listening to Vin, what a legend.:D
Jackie did great things, one thing I found amazing about him, with all the controversy he kept going and he did not let others see it get to him

If any of you are old enough to remember? I had a Jackie Robinson Little League bat back in the day, it had a sticker on it with his picture and autograph. I kept it pretty nice, used it of course but it was nice. Fast forward about 30 years and i came home from work one day and my oldest son (10 yrs) had used it to pound some stakes in the ground for camping poles in the back yard or something like that:( of course it was ruined from banging on the poles or stakes but I wonder what that bat would be worth today!!!!!!!!!!!
