Kind of hard to rate it without specs on the boat.

Dude, noticed you live in Utah...there isn't a whole lot of nice boats in Utah. But I would say that you have one of them.

Being a '98, I would immediately pull the drive and put in a new bellows kit, o-rings, and a gimble bearing. At that age, it should be close to needing those - unless they have been replaced already. But, how would one REALLY know?

Nice boat. As said, probably needs some maintenance if not already covered. Guessing it's worth around $10K to 15K depending on the condition of the boat.

Pretty sure this is his boat and he is asking what he should sell it for.
I think it's worth alot more than 10-15K?
20-30K in good shape?
Whats Nada on it?

Yes this is my boat, and have an offer for it for $28000 on a trade for a 30' Elim Eagle. A couple from Havi said they might go $30K on it. Just wondering your opinions. Thanks for the help;)

You should take it!!! Nada on this vessel is $26K high and $23K low.

45 hours??? That's awfully low. I'd put value around $25,000.

Yeah 45 hours on the 454, had a 502 but the guy I bought it from screwed the motor so he put in a new 454. Wish it had the 502 still..........

So, if I understand right, Elim will give you $28K for it toward your new 30'?
I'd jump on that. You could hold out for the $30K, but if that fell through, you are still not getting your new boat built. I think the $2K is worth it to be done and start the new one.

I do like the Eliminator Eagle series. Going to splash the Scarab 42 for the new big bad boy I think?

Don't want to hurt anyones feelings but the NADA book is
NOT based on any sales data, it is simply a depreciation
buyers guide that is almost always extemely low. Bring it
to me, I'll get you $35,000 for it in 2-3 weeks time very easily if it's as clean as it appears to be. Where else can
you find a good boat, that size with a great name on the side for less than that?

I spoke with Mellisa from Essex credit at the boat show and she said NADA is not accurate on boats. I have a 98' 25 Eagle w/ 502 and think mine's worth in the low 30's.:)

That's Lake Mead. About ten mile south of Echo Bay. About 8 miles north of the narrows. Great beach to play on.

Actually the beach is at Sand Hollow Res about 10 miles from St George. I thought the boat would bring about $33K to $35K cause like was earlier stated, not a bunch of nice perf boats around here for sale.
