any Las Vegas hints???

I am heading off for my first time this weekend. My girlie is already there for a horseshow event, but after Saturday afternoon we have a few days to play. Anything I should or should not do??? I'm not really into spending a bunch of time at the tables

Fremont Street Experience is cool (and free). It's downtown. Go at night.
Gotta see the fountains at Bellagio. Also free.
Cirque du Soleil shows are good (definitely not free, and tickets are hard to get). O is my favorite.

Fremont street is cool for a night, old school vegas, there are a few cool bars down in that area.
Fountains at the Bellagio and the show out front at the TI are cool
Kahunaville is a cool bar inside TI and the Jimmy Buffett's MargaritaVille at the Flamingo
Green Valley Ranch has a cool outdoor pool/bar/club at night, its always fun but it's about 10 miles from the strip
Ceasars and the Forum shops are cool, also
The Desert Passage at the Alladin, and
The Shops at the Venetian, all right on the strip and worth checkin out.

Something different Go to the gun club down Tropicanna, and shoot any weapon you want. Yes fully auto AK's m16 uzi's ect. Verry cool

A must do in vegas is you need to go to harrahs carnival court bar! It is outside. Go during the day it opens at noon and try to get a seat at the bar. If you like to party you will have a blast. The longer you stay the better it gets!

Are you going to the South Point? I am assuming that you are due to the equestrian stuff you are talking about.
Man, there is tons to do. I live here and I don't take advantage of a 100th of what there is to do.
Check out Vegas.com. They always have upcoming events, specials, etc.

Go check out Hoover Dam. Take all the Dam pictures u want. Only about 20-25 min's from strip....

If the weather didn't suck this weekend I would say put in and go see the Dam from the boat or better yet launch at Willow Beach and run the river up to the dam and back down to Mohave.
If you do go to the dam its more like a 45 min trip including traffic etc. Well worth it the views are amaizing.

do the fremont strip thing we always have a blast over there the last few times we went they had bands or a dj down there playing and the light display is pretty entertaining.... we also hit up BALLYS for the seafood buffet.

Go to the forum shops at Ceaser's Palace cool show (free) lots of stuff to look at. Or Mandalay Bay has the shark exibit that is pretty cool/
