Rockford Fosgate Power bd1500 mono amp- $225. 1500 watts at 2 ohm load.
Rockford Fosgate Punch 800.4 four channel amp- $175. 200 watts X 4 at a 2 ohm load.
Or, $350. for both.

No, they were purchased in 2002, and used in my boat since then.

They work great, but do need a fan like a crossflow blowing over them to keep them cool.

They work great, but do need a fan like a crossflow blowing over them to keep them cool.
I never have problems with mine. Unless like it's a real hot day and they've been running full blast all day.

The 800 four channel never had a problem, but the 1500 pushing my JL W7 would get hot, and needed a fan like most amps do in the Havasu heat when the stereo is thumping. The 3 ohm load of the W7 made it work, and it would have been better with a 4 ohm setup.
