3 series are great if you're a girl or a homo. ;)
Unless it has an "M" in front of it, and then maybe. :D

I just bought a 5 series with about 100K more on the milage... and there isn't a rattle, squeek, or pop in the entire car...
I want another one... :D

330i, what, about 200 ponies or so. Not a bad piece, the 5 is better because of the rear air. And the 5 has about 300 pounds on it. I put about 60,000 on mine before I had to put any real money in it, thats about 5 years. Put an open exaust on that puppy and it will sound GREAT. Had it on my 5 and it sounded like a bad a$$ M3. Love the sound of that inline six at 7000 rpm's. Your going to love the fuel milage as well. I was getting 30 with my 5, and running it hard all the time. Did you get the stick? These are great cars to take to the track as well. I would drift mine every chance I had, and my tire bill proved that. Check out your local Bimmer club, most have driving schools to go to, and other fun events. Good luck and feed those hydes some quality food.
Oh if you have the slush box, change that fluid every 2 years. It's a must or they will not last that long, maybe a 100,000 or so.

I have had three 3 Series coupes ' 00,' 01,' 02... and they were all great. My girl has a 330 Conv. she just bought and loves it.
only trouble I really had with mine were the light bulbs burned out a lot (not the xenon headlights, but the tail lamps and blinkers, and the inside weather stripping came unglued on 2 of them.

Thats what the older E36 M3 had for HP. They seem to do alot of block swapping and head changing stuff. I see they have brought the 2.8 six back as well. Time to get some Toyo RA-1's and hit the track. Nothing is funnier than watching a 4 banger e30 M3 spanking an 850 on the track, 850-V12.
