anyone have an input on using "used" auto glass in your vehicle?
is that ok?:jawdrop:
I have narrowed my passenger side window replacement down to
Action Auto Glass $155
All Class Glass $125
and
Low Cost Glass $70
(wants to use used, and I have to go there)

i am a auto glass installer......if it is a tempered piece than go for it.......just check for scratches, other than that it will be fine

Ive used it to replace side windows before. As long as it's in good shape, you will never know the difference. Its factory glass removed from junked cars.

windshields are laminated and most side and back windows are tempered...tempered is the type that shatters in a million pieces......alot of new cars from ford/lincoln, mercedes, etc are starting to use lami in the sides to protect passengers from the flying glass....it also reduces road noise

Thank you for all your input....I'm going to use Action Auto Glass, they are in the middle price wise, in my city, and use new glass.
(I'm sure there is nothing wrong with used glass, but with my daughters car, we will go with new)
:D
thanks!
Deb

You certainly don't want glass that's been looked through too many times! :D I would do used on the glass, as long as it's not scratched.
