Anyone know of a company that can grind off or remove a deteriorating epoxy floor? Also able to polish the concrete afterwards?
Thanks

Go to United Rentals and rent a Troxel Sander. They are designed to resurface cement. They have 3 diamond blades on it that rotate. I have used them in the passed to remove thinset from tile. They work really well but make a mess. They have an attachment that you can rent so you can attach a shop vac to it.

Yeah, I thought of that. I just don't want to do it.
Hey YoPengo, I'll rent the machine, you can sling it around?!?!?!?!?

Its really not that much work. It has wheels, and works fast.

Oh, and if thats what you rent make sure to get lots of the wood chips that hold the diamond tips in. They break easily.

I'll drop by United and look at it. He said it was about $230 per day. Maybe pick up one of those big floor polishers for afterwards?

Some Home Depots rent them also.
Over in Mission Viejo by the college(forgot the street name) and the car dealers, has one they rent. Also try Gorilla Rentals.
I rented one from the united rentals in San clemente for about $125 a day.

You need to bead blast the coating off. You can reseal it after the bead blast. United Rentals does rent bead blasters for about the same price. $250

Call Eric @ Shotblasters Inc. @ 951 541-8586
Theyll scarify the coating off the floor for you. Don't do it yourself. A min imum will most likely be $750.00 but whatever it is it will be clean.
Let em know Surfside sent you.

I'll call Eric. Thanks
Do they polish it as well?
Someone just did the Lowes in RSM, the floor looks great. Just smooth shiny concrete. That's all.
I probably have about 1000 sq. feet to do.
