Alternator Questions

I have a Volvo Penta motor with, I believe it's the Mondo alternator. Is there anybody in Riverside or Orange County that can re-build that to make it 100+ amps.

I'm sure someone around there can do it. I was told by a couple different shops you can only fit so much into the housing. Gearheads, don't call me on that it's just what I was told. There is a company called Ohio Generator that has high output alternator available. I have also used Bullhead Auto Electric, they are great.

open up the phone book and look at the generator repair shops.

A few that I have called said they couldn't do it on that particular alternator.
