I had some things I wanted to remove powder coating from which after talking and reading various stories about it and that you need AIRPLANE stripper or this and that, I asked Jeff at Jeff's polishing here in Havasu. It aint that hard, go to Walmart and buy the Kleenstrip paint remover and presto it works great, took the stuff right off, not hard to do at all. So of to Jeff the polisher on Monday we go, just thought you guys might like the info. :) NSF

Depends on the type of powder, some will come off with remover some will need to be ground by hand or sandblasted.

Carb cleaner works well too. The kind in the 5 gal bucket with a basket.
