Politically Correct Vegetables???

was at stator bros tonight and was looking for zucchini and couldn't find it.. i finally asked the helpful produce guy and he said that it is no longer called zucchini and the politically correct name for it is italian squash. i said your joking right... he said nope, we had to change the name about 4 years ago. i never knew that zucchini wasn't pc.... :confused: :confused:

Zucchini's are green Italian squash, and the term zucchini basically means "small squash" in Italian. I think he was either missinformed by a coworked, pulling your leg, OR he thinks that calling something by it's Italian name is not PC.
In any event, and speaking as an Italian, there's nothing wrong with the name zucchini IMO. ;)
