I've heard on T.V. that there's a backlash starting to form against stores that promote "happy Holidays" and not "merry Christmas". I think this political correctness is starting to get out of hand. Soon there won't be anything we can say or do for fear of being politically incorrect.

No PC or commentary here - just an observation.
Since this year's commercials began their run, Target has been advertising something called the "Gather Round" in red and green letters, featuring music by EW&F. In the latest version I've seen, "Gather Round" has been replaced by "Merry Christmas" in easily read white letters. Coincidence ?
For the record, I'm a non-practicing, Roman Catholic, Merry Christmas kind of guy...
