Overton Beach..........

...I remember seeing on HB that Overton Beach is no more, that the marina was taken down river, is that right? Where is it in relation to Echo Bay? And is Las Vegas Bay tough to launch on the weekends? Thanks :sqeyes:

Overton Marina was closed by the National Park Service due to low water levels.
Overton Marina was 18 miles north of Echo Bay.
Half of the marina went to Temple Bar the other half went ot Callville Bay. The Mobile Home park, Store, Restaurant, & all other signs of civilization are gone as of March 2007.
I personally don't launch out of Las Vegas Bay, so I don't know.
