The Good Shepard, it kept us into it the whole time. Miami Vice wasn't great, but I find myself popping it in especially since I got the 46" DLP.

The ones you list are great movies including the Oceans (#) movies.
ADD:
1. Casino Royale: Best footchase I've ever seen.
2. 300---Great scenes with some nice reality gore.
3. Italian Job--- Was good especially the ending.
Honorable Mentions. Sin City---Which has been out for some time but worthy of library material----AND Both KILL BILL's something hot about a blond assassin.

The Departed was pretty good. Great actors in top form.
The Motorcycle Diaries was good in a really different way.

So far, I already own every movie mentioned except "The Motorcycle Diaries" "Good Shephard" and "300". Is 300 even out yet?
Haven't seen the the first two though...
The Departed kicks ass. Great movie. I thought Wahlberg was a little over the top, but everyone else was hugely realistic.

Got a burned copy of 300 sitting at my house if you want it. ;)

I'd agree with that. The worlds fastest Indian was a kick ass movie. I also enjoyed "Madison" quite a bit.

I really liked "Master and Commander....The Far Side of the World".....but I have read almost all of the Patrick O'Brian series. Reading the books you really get to know and like Capt. Jack Aubrey (Lucky Jack Aubrey) and Dr. Stephen Maturin (M.D., Surgeon, world renowned naturalist and secret spy for the Royal Navy).
In the movie you don't really have a chance to get into the charaters but it gives you a great feeling for sailing and fighting a naval warship back in that time period (1800s).
The movie left it wide open for part two, with the enemy captain, masquerading as the captured ships surgeon, sailing away in the captured ship.

Casino Royal - best bond flick ever
By a lot... Like, twice as good as the next best, which was of course Connery in "Goldfinger".
Connery is a classic bond, but I think that Brosnan was actually the best up until this episode, he just lacked a great story to tell. Best he did was "Tomorrow Never Dies" IMO...

Agree and have seen all mentioned except for The Boondock Saints. If its one of Dafoe's best, it must be good. Platoon, Last Temptation, Once Apon A Time In Mexico, etc. I'm a Dafoe fan....
Last King of Scotland- Another great actor from Platoon Forrest Whitaker does a good job in this one.

Both of you ought to be sent to three days in solitary for even thinking that. Sean Connery was the one and only JB. He would straight up beat down anyone, man or woman, to get what he needed out of them. He set the stage for every wannabe JB since.
Man, I still can't believe you wrote that Wes. I am even thinking to myself that maybe you just really got stoked on the movie, and forgot about just how bad ass SC really is. Go ahead and rent From Russia with Love and remind yourself who the true blue JB is.
BTW, go rent The Good Shepard tonight Wes. It will be in your top 20 for sure.

"Dear Lord baby Jesus, or as our brothers in the south call you, jesuz, we thank you so much for this bountiful harvest of Dominos, KFC, and the always delicious Taco Bell. I just want to take time to say thank you for my family. My two beautiful, beautiful, handsome striking sons, Walker, and Texas Ranger, or TR as we call him. And of course my red hot smokin' wife Carley, who is a stone cold fox."
"Dear little baby Jesus, who's sittin' in his crib watchin the Baby Einstein videos, learnin' 'bout shapes and colors. I would like to thank you for bringin' me and my moma together, and also that my kids no longer sound like retarded gang-bangers. "
"Cal Naughton, Jr.: I had a dream where Jesus was a dirty old bum, and I was about to sock him in the face because, well he's a dirty old bum, but then I thought, there's something special about him...
Ricky Bobby: Because it was Jesus, right...
Cal Naughton, Jr.: Yeah...
"Cal Naughton, Jr.: Ricky, if you turn on the stereo, how do you control the volume on the television?
Ricky Bobby: If you have the stereo on, why would you turn up the volume on the TV?
Cal Naughton, Jr.: Cause I like to party. "

No offense, but Sean Connery can't even hold up DC's jockstrap.
Best action, best Bond, best one liners. Best car, best plot, best bond girl, yada yada yada... Nothing compares anymore.

DC needs to spend a few years in SC school and even then he would probably still be a tool.

I agree, Casino Royal is the best Bond.....much darker, grittier, and closer to the original Ian Fleming novels. Read Casino Royal or Moonraker and you'll see what I mean....
And I always thought that "Shaken, not stirred" BS was lame (and not in the novels)....give me a break, who gives an F, just give me a god damn martini......
