Does anyone know anything about this 27 shadow that is listed for auction through amssale.com pretty good lookin boat! I wouldnt mind the work if the price was right! here is the pic. Also how do i put the pic on here instead of just an attached file?:idea:

That boat was used in the LA Boat Show a coupole years ago. They did a huge stereo install live in the lobby of the LA Convention Center. If I remember correctly that boat got stolen out of a storage unit in Havasu. The boat and trailer have been beat up pretty good as well.

minuim bid is starting at 30k. It sounds like it might be a lil costly to fill all those holes.

30 seems pretty steep. Looks like it needs at least another 30 to make it right. You would be better off buying a brand new one.

I would not waste my time or money on that one. If the stereo and everything was stripped there is alot more than just holes to fill on that boat. I saw the install first hand and there was a lot of cutting and fab work that had to go into that boat. I am sure the inside is destroyed if everything got ripped out.

Has anyone looked at the boat since the damage? Is the boat located close to ultra where someone could give me a bid on getting the exterior gel all repaired? I can handle the trailer part and the sound system or just take all that out and put in new panels. Might be cheaper to add a nice KRACO sound system from my local BIG K!

There is more to the stereo than you think. The floor was all cut into to put speakers in and amps. Also alot of panels were made and glassed in. I am assuming if all the stereo equipment was taken there is quite alot of damage. You would have to almost replace the floor in the boat. I know it seems likea great deal, but I think there is ALOT of MONEY and WORK needed.

Anybody know who won the auction for the 27 shadow? I got out at $51,500 with 4 guy still bidding it up. What did it finally go for?

Why even go 51k when you have great running ones for 65 - 75k, that makes no sense does it:confused:

Damn, guess I was a little nieve, can't believe it went to 50k concidering the condition. There's a 27 shadow out there with my name on it somewhere:rolleyes:

The boat did not sell at the last supposed "auction" so they are doing another one and it ends tommorow. I called and talked to someone and they said the boat was bid into th 40s but the guy couldnt get the money in time. He also stated that ultra told him the boat could be put back together for around 20k minus the stereo. :idea:
