I was at Ultra today and saw a mini trophy truck on the show room. How about some info on em John. I was in a hurry and didnt have very much time to check it out. The guy there said that your bro is building them. I saw a guy pulling one on the 8 on my way back too.
Oh and...How much??

John does not have a brother. JW's kids (JT and Gavin) are racing them. Pretty cool to go watch. We watched them race a few weeks back at Pomona. They raced this weekend in Chula Vista. John's nephew is getting his own shop up and running down at Ultra for these trucks.

Trophy karts are great. I am looking at getting my daughter one.....They run about $7000 the last I checked, I would imagine they are like boats though, faster karts mean more $$$$

We're down here in Chula Vista right now getting ready for the next race. Both my boya race Trophy Karts. My nephew is now a dealer for them. I'm letting him set up in part of our showroom (that's why the showroom is a mess right now while we are remodleing).
They start at $6,800. We have many in stock plus a full parts and service department for them. We are now the manufacturer for Trophy Kart of the bodies.
If anybody needs anything just get a hold of me. We give discounts to Hot Boat forum members as always.

Funny you would mention that. Dri Wash is the ONLY thing we use to clean the Trophy Karts. One of the boys' jobs is to clean the karts between each race. We always have the cleanest karts on the track.

They were originally made just for adults, so yes, they fit adults. We have to put seat risers and pedal extensions for the kids.
They do not make a two seater.
They have a 265 CC Subaru/Robins engine. They do about 40mph. They have 19" of front travel and 15" of rear. They come stock with King shocks.
We do offer them in different colors and with different graphics kits.
We have plenty in stock at all times.

The stock version won't bomb through the dunes, but it does OK at the desert. For the sand dunes there is a modified version with a 50hp engine that will go anywhere, but it's $23,000.

I'm friends with the guy that owns these. I believe his son Ryan is leading the series right now. John, you going to Texas? Sounds like that will be the make or break race for the season.

Pretty cool. I might have to get one of these instead of a new KTM.

Racing is expensive. I like funding the things with $500 motors instead of $50k motors.:D
