Daddy Mack--great job with the photos but you and I both
know that your boat was built when they built them strong!
When in doubt, they threw another layer in there!

Lol.. yup :) and good thing too! it got tested real good today.. when mine came out.. it wiggled a bit but came right down... keith hung in the air... it was wild.... and a bit scary to watch...
We had to pull out to a beach to put jackets on... I couldn't stop out in the water cause we would have swamped...!! (no more pictures after that :jawdrop: )

Now that's the Mojave that I remember. My family spent a lot of time there from 1978 - 1990 and I rember the wind blowing every damn day. I would still like to get back there to show my kids the scenery, very different from the 'zoo.

The first 10 miles wasn't too bad...then the waves started to gain momentum. :) The last 4-5 miles was the worst.

Are those rollers from the wind? Cool pics in both threads..:)

STV_Keith
06-11-2007, 08:13 AM
Yeah! The big area of the lake is about 25 miles long, and the wind really gets the rollers running in there.
