There was a thread here awhile back on that, seems like a lot of the pics were lost though. I find it intersting as well. Always wonder what may be hidden under the water. I found this after reading the thread you mention... Underwater Footage (http://www.videoray.com/Video/video.htm) there is a short video taken from inside the USS Arizona, the B-29 that crashed in Lake Mead, couple others....
I spent quite a bit of time messing around on the 'net, looking at pics of sunken/abandoned boats. I also find interesting what is revealed when lake levels drop...

What do they do with the sunken boats that have been retrieved after long periods of time? This boat was recovered from Powell, supposedly.

Here's that sunken boat in Ribbon Canyon. We named it "Guido," because we think gangsters deliberately sunk it. All identifying numbers have been stripped, and the outboard has been unbolted. The hull looks intact. Very fishy.... Has remnants of a Utah state sticker from 1983--a high-water year...

Here's another sunken boat! This one is on the left side of the channel heading downlake at Buoy 62! The numbers are all scratched off, but the registration tag is still on there--California, 1987.

These pics were of a wreck that happened about a mile north of the mouth of the river in Havasu in Oct. 2005. We had to pull it's occupents out of the water. Had some injuries but everybody lived. It spun and rolled at 80MPH.

Who is this retard?
The only a-hole in that whole deal was Later with his multiple screen names and family tree that doesn't branch. I wonder if John ever moved out and figured out how to provide for his family instead of leaching off of his inlaws and spending what little money he had on a POS jet boat that he lacked the safety judgment to drive with his family in. Oh wait, did he ever get that part time job for $120K a year? I heard it had something to do with drumming up scam fund raisers? What a tool.

Best I can remember of the story, they hit something, knocked hole in the bottom of the boat & tried to beach it before it sank. There are more pics somewhere around here that showed the big hole in the bottom, after they got it out. A big *ouch* at any rate..... :jawdrop: :)
