View Full Version : I got owned at the pool today.

So I'm swimming laps right, trying to be all badass since that thread got me pumped on working out; and, out of nowhere, this bitch in the lane next to me trys to show a cracker up and lap my ass. I wasn't having it. I was going to put the smack down. But, the harder I swam, the more she was walking away. Funny thing was....i noticed she was swimming all crooked and had fins. I was like whatever, it's a girl, she needs the fins to compete. But still. I wasn't able to catch her. I was crushed.
Then! I get out of the pool all defeted and shit. And there was an empty wheelchair sitting next to her lane! I got school by a quad! OWNED! :(

I believe the term is Paraplegic.
If you were in fact beat by a Quad then you must have been swimming slower than a lily pad. :D

I was thinking the fins were used to keep the legs up to the surface while in motion. WHo knows? I'll check next time at the lap pool in Scottsdale.
