Mr. Gadgets (wsuwrhr) lifts my boat and I have pics to prove it too!
So Brian brings over his matchsticks and tells me we can lift the boat, no problem. IÂ’m like, I dunnoÂ….as I stared into his pickup bed full of wood, steel and straps.
Fast forward a few hours later and yup, up goes the boat; out comes the trailer; and onto his boat dolley. Just like he said.
IÂ’ve gotta tell ya, BrianÂ’s ingenuity and skill were pretty impressive. More importantly, Brian came over and spent his day crawling my garage in 100+ heatÂ….which was pretty fawking nice of him.
Sometimes the hookups and help you receive from peeps on this board is nothing short of amazing.
Thanks again wsuwrhr – you made short work of my project and I can’t thank you enough.
Hanging outÂ…

That's what I'm thinkin'....it would probably scare the termites off that are holding all the wood together.

-- Dudes --
I live in a KB home (Kaufmann Broad), built back in the day when they were trying to save costs by using used nails!:jawdrop:
The way Brian set it up - any garage can handle it.

Hey right on!!!
I had a good time.
I show up to help a HB member who looked out for me when I needed some help.
I walk away with a new friend, a BRAND NEW Lifeline jacket, and a 12 pack.
What more can you ask for?
I was a little apprehensive when we first started out. I wasn't sure if the garage would be deep enough to set it all up.
I'll be ready to settle it back on the trailer whenever you are ready.

Sorry,
I only have what you see. Up in the rafters is a 6X6 beam supported by a 4X6
on each corner.
"X" the 4X6's for some lateral support and awaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy you go.
