0% is a good loan.....
Don't buy a boat....Find a friend that has one....
If this doesn't sound familiar " The happiest day of a boat owners life is.....The day you buy it and the day you sell it" it will soon :D
Really I hear 8% isn't bad but Im no loan consultant.
Good luck and try credit unions, I got the best deal there....

Anything under 8%. You will need a 739 or above credit score with Experian. To my knowledge, most of the boat loan companies use Experian. Trans Union and Equifax don't seem to be used as much; not sure why.
The best rate I have heard in the past month is 7.25.
Good Luck.

I believe my credit to be in the mid 800s
shall see
one credit union wants over $500 for a fee to create the loan

Well considering that an 850 is the best anyone can have, I would say mid 800's is good.;)
I have been running credit on people for 5+ yrs and I would have to say I see an 800+ credit score very rarely. You are lucky to have a score like that. It will get you whatever you want. :)
Anything over 739 is pretty much considered perfect when purchasing a luxury item.
