Had a bit of an accident on the way to the lake this weekend. My Super Duty decided that it didn't like the way my friends outdrive looked and wanted to rearrange it. I hit him, then jack knifed. Messed his boat up pretty good, and my trailer is pretty crooked, but we still made it to the lake... :D

If I had just rammed your boat, would you be smiling as I dragged it back into its (almost) proper position on the trailer? LOL

It's an antenna that the previous owner added for a marine CB radio thingy.

Yep. A guy in front of him was pulling a utility trailer that didn't have working lights. The guy braked hard to make a turn. My buddy his his brakes hard (not quite sure how he missed the other guy), but the lights on his trailer weren't working very well either... one was out and the other was iffy. I hit my brakes hard too, but it was too late.

The day wasn't a total loss, we didn't want to let a little accident ruin our boating plans. And I always take pictures... :D

No... It was Highway 64 (I think) in Dallas County on our way to Pomme De Terre Lake.
And Baja, funny you say that, cause it really does turn left better...

How was I being a dolt? Was I speeding? Nope. Doing 40 in a 55. Following too closely? Nope. I was a good 4 truck lengths back before the incident. Was it my fault that neither of the trailers in front of me didn't have working brake lights? No. Could I have stopped the retard with the utility trailer from slamming on his brakes? No. Will a 4x4 3/4 ton diesel truck with 33" tires towing a 3,000lb load and a jet ski in the bed stop on a dime? Nope. Get the hell outta here ass clown.

Not trying to blame anybody but if you could not stop in time then yes you were driving to fast for conditions and yes you were following too closely. At least you guys have a great attitude and salvaged the day.:D

Little update... My metal guy doesn't think we can bend the trailer back, so tomorrow afternoon we're cutting off the front end of the trailer and rebuilding it all...

Yessireee it is. 1973 Chrysler 130 HP. Runs like a champ. Power trim needs new seals, but other than that it runs great, even in 35* weather it still starts right up.
