We will be going to the Grand Canyon in mid August.
Has anyone taken the 2 1/2 hour train ride in? If so, what can you see & do when you get there? Is there a better option than the train?
Also,Best Hotel for kids 13,11,6?
Thanks
AL

Did the Williams/Grand Canyon thing, it was great. Upgrade to the lounge car, buffett, wine, entertainment, etc. Well worth it. But unless you want to hike into the canyon, one day there is plenty for lunch and walking. Also, one nite is more than enough in Williams, there is nothing to see there except the train station itself. For more sightseeing, its only a few miles to Sedona...
