View Full Version : Cool solid state helmet cam

I saw this cam and thought it looked pretty cool for under 100 bucks. Comes with several mounting options. Made to strap to helmet but I can see it mounted on some boats, rhinos, towables etc. 2 GB SD card records 60 min of video at 640x480 and it's water resistant.

My buddy has that one, it seems to work pretty well, takes a damn decent quality video for what it is. He put it on his rhino that i built the long travel kit for, i watched some videos with the camera pointed at the suspension and it had no problem dealing with hard hits or gyrations.

I didn't think about using it as a diagnostic tool. That is a good use for it.

I didn't think about using it as a diagnostic tool. That is a good use for it.
Sounds like you are both thinking along the same lines. Guess I ought to buy one.
