Sat in line for 4 hours at windsor today. I heard there was a drowning, and some other serious injuries involving props. They closed it down for a while. Had helicoptors and everything....

You were lucky! They made me pick up my boat at the PWC ramp, and the driver ate the prop on his way in. They say "NO PROPS" for a reason....

We went out on Friday, and could tell already that the weekend was going to be crazy. I'll go look at the paper and report back any news.

this all started around 6pm... the impact was till 9 or 10... boaters said it took 2-3 hour to retrieve boats as they scrambled for other launch ramps after dropping someone off at windsor to pick up trailers

Took us around 45mins to pull off at the Marina last night at 7:00. Chaos prevailed.
We were with LHPD when the call came in that two people were missing off a boat that came in at Windsor. They were treating it as drownings until proved otherwise. Unfortunately it sounds like they were. Very sad.

We heard about the incident from Rick and Todd who were talking to the cops when they got the call on the radio. We had already made plans to do some dinner plans so we were already headed to pull off at the marina around 5:30. Foetunately the chaos had not started yet. We were off the lake in 15 mins.
Got lucky.:)
