Boat names

Just curious,
What's your boat name? And how did you pick it?

I named my boat "UUUUUUUUUGLY" because I have bondo spots on it, the paint on the sides has either been sanded of or scraped off with a razor blade. The bottom has a red color bottom paint on it in some places and the boat is the "80s" colors that are earth tones. The name fits well.

Feelin' Alright. My dad got me into dragboat racing and has helped me out quite a bit...he's a huge Joe Cocker fan so we figured it was a pretty good name for a boat.

I want my next boat to be gelled the pearl white escalade color, Louis Vuitton strips sewn into the upholstry, shag carpet and chrome everything. I want to call it the Bada Bling with a similar logo.

Kind of an inside joke that I wasn't too fond of at first but seeing as how my family and friends would never let up I figured I'd show them I could take a practical joke and name the boat that. Story behind it is that the weekend we picked up the boat. Fresh off the dyno with an awesome tune and numbers, we put it in the water and the tune was so far off it wouldn't even get on plane. :D

About 8 years ago my wife and I were in the Caribbean and we asked for the time from a guy and he said it was "Tico Time". Kind of put it together that it doesn't really matter what time it is when your on vacation.

I did not name the boat, I purchased it used and kept the name, as I have heard it is bad luck to rename a boat. Also, we always have the kids with us, so the name is perfect for us.

Currently all I have is a Zodiac and it doesn't have a name. My first boat was a jet w/ a lot of motor work. When I got home, my buddy saw it and said, "we are going to die in that thing". The name of that boat was: Water Coffin. The next few boats had names but nothing like the first one. At one point I was looking at a cat. The name I liked was Pussy Cat. My wife didn't really care for the name & I told her she needed to get her mind out of the gutter. :D
