Thats really nice Shadow. The only thing is you were the guinea pig for the Raylar kit. We were all waiting to see how your motor stood the test of time. How much of that is your old motor and such?

I'm really pleased with the results. Most all of the same parts. So far Raylar
set up has been all that was promised.I think the issue with the rocker nuts may have got some bad rumors flying around. With anything new there will be bugs to be worked out.I personally eliminated any chance of rocker nut issues by installing 7/16 studs, and took posi lock nuts machined them to fit with the new studs, roller rockers, and to fit under the valve cover.I know of a few others with the Raylar installed and so far trouble free.Time will tell and if there is someone who will put it to the test,it will be me.

I know of a few people who have had problems......... :p
The motor looks great. I saw it a while back when it was out at Aaron's. Now you have to keep the engine hatch open more.

..Raylar should hook up with Boat Bling :)
Good thinking...in fact we worked last year for about 3 months with Raylar to create the top covers they are using--a few changes here and there, but we created that prototype and let them add their own flare. Wish we were doing them all...maybe in the future :)

Your billet pulleys are sure good looking,But too rich for my blood. Now if you had some billet speakers we may be talking bussiness.

If I buy and send you a K&N, will you put it on? That's too nice of a motor to have sand and debris sent through it.

Shadow,
I'm curious why you replaced the oil fill cap with a breather?
With the last set up, i had a little blow by issue and in a attempt to relieve a little pressure tried a breather. Not really necessary now just using the cap i already had.

Cracked piston?
Actually not cracked, there was a chip/chunk missing between the top of the piston and top ring land.creating the blow by.Still ran strong as ever, just the blow by and spurting alittle oil out the dip stick tube.(easiest route to escape).

Close quess, though, eh?
Problem is, where did the chunk end up?

Hey Focker:
Don't let them give you to much chit here. You are now a certified rocket scientist, ever since you launched that seat into low earth orbit during that run!! Just glad Blaine and I were out of the landing recovery zone! I did you proud at the Cleavlander in Miami last week, my one night bar tab was $450.00! and I didn't buy anyone elses drinks!!
