Awesome house and great pics. The backyard and view are incredible. But, I don't want to be negative, will the house sell for over $800K? I obviously don't know the market there.
I have a 5000 sq. ft. home, four bedrooms, four bath, with a 40 foot saltwater pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, indoor kitchen, great room, etc. etc. etc., on a half acre in a gated community with a five car garage, 60 foot setback next to the house for the boat, a courtyard that can park four vehicles and a driveway that can park ten more for a mere $899K! I DO NOT HAVE THE VIEW!!! But I am 20 min from Lake Pleasant.
Just sitting here scratching my head??? :)

Will probably sell for over 800K but probably wont appraise for much more then 750K( The difference will have to be cash). Since appraiser have to go by recent(last 6 months) comps It will be hard to come up with much more the 750K on the appraisal. The comps don't have near the view I do(and in this town...it's all about the lake view). There are only a hand full of homes that back up to the view and none have been for sale for quite awhile.

If this one moves are you gonna go for one of the houses you built?
I believe it is state owned property, it might be part of the refuge(which is federal), I'm really not sure. As long as it is state of federal land we are safe. If they sell it off, which could happen then you never know. We are higher then the land behind us so I don't think the view will ever be completely lost, There is always a possibility that we could lose some of the view in the future. But as far as I know there are no plans at this time for any constuction behind us.
If we sell it we will be building on a lot without a view that we just picked up in our old neighborhood(South side). I wish every house on my site would sell too. Thanks for the kind words,
Michele

When the market start to heat up again, there goes all the good deals. You won't have a chance at a house like this for 800K when the market picks back up.
I'm lowering it to 800K in the mls today, I think that is very comparable and it should go at that price relatively soon. But who knows.

When the market start to heat up again, there goes all the good deals. You won't have a chance at a house like this for 800K when the market picks back up.
I'm lowering it to 800K in the mls today, I think that is very comparable and it should go at that price relatively soon. But who knows.
I still think it's a lot for a house that comps are $750,000. If the comps. were from 2 months ago I would bet the comps would be much lower today. I see houses all over town dropping prices which is not good at all.

It's not bad if your going to be buying your partner out of their 1/2. :D

In that case you could still wait alittle longer and get a better buy out:) This is only my opinion;)
