I agree.... :( Michael Anthony is a hugh part of their original sound. I would go see them if he was playing bass.

He was asked to leave so Eddie's son could take over his duties...good try Eddie.

i have been to Van Halen concerts with roth, sammy and cherone. the show with sammy was the better show because roth seemed too drunk to even remember the words to the songs. i would still go and see them if it was all the original lineup.

Amen, I was a huge Sammy fan before he joined VH and when he did seems like he took them to the next level... The reason Michael Anthony won't do it again is because him and Sammy are best of friends. Last time I saw Sammy and the Waborita's Michael Anthony popped in a played, it was incredible.

I would love to have seen them with Cherone, but I have to say the idea of seeing this lineup would not interest me too much. I would rather go see a Sammy show. That guy gets up on stage and rocks. It is all about the music and making you feel like partying. I can't wait to see him again.

Not much loyalty among the Van Halen's. First concert I saw was 1984 tour. MA bass solo was just out of this world cool. Damn.
Now...I will pass. Back stabbing dick heads.
Your in as long as you like swinging from Eddie's ball sack.

I have to agree, they screwed Sammy and now it just seems that Eddie needs the money so they keep having "Reunion" tours.... Screw them, see you in Cabo!

Dude, it's been that way for the past 25 years, lol.
I've seen them so many times, I can't even remember the number. The first was in their prime days, I think about 1980, Long Beach Arena. Even then, I was like WTF is up with his voice?
--------
Now Sammy kicked azz in the old days. Orange Pavilion, every year, hometown thing. Heavy Metal and Red...good stuff.
Who has a bigger blimp on their shoulders - Eddie or Gene Simmons?

:D saw them in 1984, l.b. arena, when they rocked, from the 10th row center floor seats:D
Long Beach? I saw them (1984 show) at the Forum and at the time I would have been extremely jealous of your seats.:D
Remember at the end...loud hum then bam...1984 in bright lights. I think I saw that 1984 for at least a week past every time I closed my eyes.:D
