Anyone know of any nice places to stay in flagstaff? The wife is a clean freak. Any resorts?

There is a Hilton Garden inn there. THey are usually very clean, but it right off the exit. Not the most scenic place.

Stay away from anything on Rt.66, well unless you like trains in the middle of the night. And better call 2 weeks in ahead of time, they fill up fast. I like La Quinta, several more in that area. There is a Sizzler within walking distance and a Kohls out back, target on the other side of the road, and wal-fart to the south. At the north end of the wal-fart parking lot there is an apple tree, good stuff. Going in a few weeks my self. Good pike fishing at Ashurst lake. Most any thing on Beulah and parts of the main drag into town are good. Get to close to the UofA and it gets a little ratty, and closer to the tracks. La Quinta has good morning chow.

I went to school at NAU in flag and every year I go back to watch a game and stay at the same place. The Aspen Inn. It is a bed and breakfast, walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend this place. PM me and I can give you all the details.

It’s been a few years, but the last time I was up there we stayed at the Little America Hotel. The rooms are large, room service is good and the staff was very friendly.

I back the Sedona idea, if it's a vacation. It's about 30 min South, but incredible scinery & lots of nice places to stay. If your passing through, on the East side of town there's condominiums for rent by the night. The name escapes me, but they're right off the 40 by the athletic club.

Little America, hands down. They have a great 2 mile hiking trail on the property.

Woodlands is a good call. Little America is OK but its old school. I believe that the place off the I40 and Country club exit someone mentioned is a Radison but I'm not sure. I grew up and lived for 20 years about 2 miles from this hotel..why would I remember what its called? I was in flkag last weekend and the weather was off the hook. Love that place, too bad nobody can afford to live there.

Just got back from Williams..nice place..cool lil town with old charm. I stayed here....http://www.thetrain.com(grand canyon railway hotel). I took the motorhome and family had a great time and took the train to the grand canyon. The rv park is brand new and the cleanest I've seen. Havent been in 25 years..was amazing!
