Last I heard, Stan still owns a few of the molds. He hasn't had a shop for a few years. I think he sold the 23 to Omega around 2000. I think Aftershock is using his old 21 mold. I think he still may sell a boat or two. When he built my old one in '99, he sub'd the layup and did the rigging himself. He did the same for a friend of mine a couple years ago. He was trying to build a 36'. He was building it with/for a friend of mine. They had a falling out so I don't know if he ever finished one. It was a bitchen looking 36'. Had a 10' beam. I beleive it was a carver bottom, Stan tooled the deck. Would have been a sweet boat.
I don't have his number on me, but I'm sure I can dig it up.

I have a 19' Eagle, and the HIN number starts with CXN, which points to Crusader Boats as well. Noone has ever been able to tell me anything about the make of my boat. Last time at Avi I saw an exact boat like mine, and it was called an Apache! Same Panther pump, same painted name on the back. But his Hull number started with APC or something like that so I assumed it was right to his boat.

That would be great! if you could find that.
Do you know if he has the 18ft molds?

I'll look for it tonight. I'm not sure about the 18'. He built the 19' for my buddy a couple years ago. That's a good little hull.

I tried forever for someone to give me his number but couldn't find it. Are you lookin for a jet, or an outboard? My buddy has a tunnel, and it scoots pretty damn fast with little power. He's in the mid 90's with a VERY mild blown BBC.
Here's a couple pics I saved.

Yeah. Yours has a egg beater on the back. :jawdrop: :D
I dont think so. The one im looking at is a 19 1/2ft and has a deck more like the chalenger boat.
The 18's were a splash of eliminator, hallet, nordic, well you get the pic. they were all the same back then, the only dif was the back 2ft of the deck. My old eliminator 18ft bubble was longer back there.

If you want to haul ass a tunnel jet is the way to go.
If you're cruising then an outboard could be ok.

Not sure if this is the same Stan or not...but there's a guy out in Wildomar, CA that has a few molds, including one of original Cheyenne tunnel molds. I met him out at Elsinore in January and i vaguely remember him saying he had a crusader mold.
here's his number: 951-760-5668
he's building boats if anyone wants one.
