I remember years ago, some combination consumed with wine causes nausea & vomiting???
Maybe beer & wine don't mix?
Going to a dinner friday night and wanted to have a martini or something before dinner and then wine with dinner. Sound ok?

Beer and wine is ok.
liquor before beer=you are in the clear
Beer before liquor=never sicker
BTW I tried this formula out AGAIN this past weekend. The second one is exactly right.

Sounds like a mild night in our neck of the woods. :D
Let's see, we went out last week and I started with 2 espresso martinis. Sat down for dinner and had a goose and soda. We had a bottle of red with dinner, then I had a Lemon Pie for dessert (another martini). Once we got back to the High Limit Room, I had the gal mix me up a Tashtini (drink served at our wedding) and after about 3 of those, I was escorted up to a suite by our casino host.
Yeah, I think you'll be ok. :D :D :D

I drink it all and never have a problem. Sometimes the head hurts and ya feel like shit, but I never throw up.

Just drink until you get sick, then barf all over the couch. It'll give everyone at the party something to talk about later.
Bonus points if you hurl on the couch and the hostess at the same time.

I like yours better.
Maybe I can remember yours next time. My rhyme didn't serve me well this weekend.

That's the first thing I learned in college. After a night of drinking beer, don't come home and start drinking straight Wild Turkey.

I am never good with mixing wine with anything. Then again...perhaps I should not drink a whole bottle. :D

anything goes before dinner. Although white liquor if having white wine is a good guideline. After dinner try a port or bourbon or scotch neat.
