A special lady friends daughter is turning 7... I have no clue to what a seven year old girl would like for her birthday. I'd like to keep it under 100 bucks... I'm hoping some of you moms and dads can give me some help? What is cool these days?
Thanks

I was going to say a little 50 dirt bike but I don't think that fits your $100 limit.

That's a great idea but... I use to date her mom ten years ago. And have never met her in person. This will be the first time... We all know how important first impressions are with females, even ones that are 7... LOL

things she can put together herself like necklaces, bracletts etc..

Go get her a cricket or metro cell phone. You can get them for around $70 including a month of unlimited service. Mom should like it cause u can tell her that u really got it for her so she can keep tabs on her and the 7 year old will love it to cause its a cell phone

Beleve it or not my when my friends twin girls turned 7 I got them each one of the CD player walkmans. Even the parents loved it, They can listen to what ever they want and not bother anyone. Beleve it or not even the cheap ones ($25) hold up pretty well.
Or look into a MP3 player, RCA makes one that can use a SD card, but still holds like 50 songs without the card. Last one we bought was about $50.

Not all little girls are the same.
My neice just turned 7 on Wed. She wanted a pink helmet with pink goggles. A electric guitar, and clothes with skulls and crossbones on them.
Any way mabey you could get some ideas from her mom?

See what she's into first, not all little girls are into girly things. I think a camera of some sort is a great choice...or ask mom what she's into to get some direction on ideas...

I went for the Pink Nintendo DS with 2 games one of them is a Bratz / poney game and the other is a brain game. I think it should make her birthday a happy one. Her mom is real happy too. ;)

My 8 y.o girl is really into-
Bratz dolls
Anything to do with "Hannah Montana" (disney channel show) CD's, DVD and depending where you live get her some concert tickets to see her show, I know my daughter is all in to it.
Littlest pet shop stuff is also big around the house now as well.
Also a Target Gift card is always a favorite.
