Hello All,
I've noticed that quite a few of the members seem to be interested in aviation, airplanes, flight, etc. So, I wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that the red bull air races are coming to San Diego on Sept 21st and 22nd. I just found out about it a little while ago. It should be an awesome show.
One european city had one million spectators lining the shore.
For anyone who is unfamiliar with the air races check out www.redbullairrace.com they have some unbeliavable video clips...
Enjoy...

I wanted to go when they had the races in Monument Valley... I guess the pilots were very unhappy with that venue and it won't be back... so I missed my chance to see that kind of flying in such a breathtalking backdrop...

Neither...they will be over the bay. Judging from past competitions they may even go under the coronado bridge...that would be bad ass..http://www.redbullairrace.com/2007/resize.php?format=big&file=../images/2007/galleries/Budapest_20.08.06/DG_BU_IVAN_397.jpg

That would be cool but I wont hold my breath for it. Other Countries don't have the FAA to deal with, California Coastal Commission, 911 Hang Over etc.
Are they going to use North Island as the staging area?
