Who here goes to the lake in the summer, and the sand in the winter? And if so what do you ride in, or on?

There are a ton of us who ride and boat. The transition from water season is weird though. You hardly recognize your friends in anything other than board shorts and t-shirts. ;)
A lot of us go to Glamis, Ocotillo, Dumont, etc... Usually pretty good parties in the desert. :)

I go to Glamis. When the weather gets cool, I switch. Dont matter when. Before or after Oct.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling frisky and the little woman is in a good mood, I throw down a Gloopkin.

We do. Last year we had a rail and quads. But we are looking at changing rides this winter. We may get a ranger. But we like to go to the dunes in the winter. Obviously, boating from spring on. We just got a 2007 37 ft Raptor Toyhauler, so I guess we should make a good effort to party in the dunes more this year. :D

I have a boat and sand toys but very little time to use them. Wife wants to get rid of them all and put in a pool. But i keep them just so i can go into the garage and yard just to look at them. I like that better:)

We do the whole Havasu in the summer, Glamis/Dumont in the winter thing. Our boat is in my sig line. This year we will be off-road in our Jeep as we sold our sandrail to Havasurat a while back. Lots of fun!!

I'll take your word for it:jawdrop:
Worked at a dyno shop and I'm fully aware of what 450's can do, I just more or less like to pick on the ones with pipes and 300lbs guys:D

I boat year round, some of my best jet boating is in November and December when the lake is empty. Plus its off season, so it is free camping, and day use :D

Nothing beats glamis on a two wheeler. I have a lot of friends with real nice sandrails and i still enjoy riding my Yamaha 426. just wish it had a little more power, or I need to loose some weight.
