I've got Dishnetwork and I'm thinking of upgrading to the HD/DVR deal.
Anyone have this satellite upgrade?
Any thoughts or likes/dislikes???

Doesn't Kingman get most of their broadcasts from Vegas? Reason being, You may be too far to recieve the H.D. signal on your air antenna. I had this problem last year up here. We were told we were too far from Sacramento to recieve the H.D. signal. Things may have changed since last year, but worth looking into. BTW, High Def is great. It's like watching DVD's all the time.

My local channels are pumped in from the dish. We get the Phoenix feed.
No local HD is available but I'm more interested in the 25 other ones like HBO, TNT, ESPN, etc.
The new Sopranos and Deadwood season would be great in HD and the upcoming baseball and Nascar too. :p

We looked into it, and our local cable had the best set up for the time being as far as HD goes.
Dirrect and dish just didnt seem to have what we wanted, yet.
I expect them to eventually offer a better system and package.

I've had it for over a year and love it but I hate it that the F*****s pulled the OLN chanel. No more off-shore and off-road racing :mad:
