Our streets, motels and gas stations are full of Halletts, Cigs. Outerlimits, Baja's and Fountains already, and I'm sure LHC is full of Nordics, Sleeks, DCB's and 'toons. Going to be HOT this three day weekend

I brought my boat home from the river last weekend and am going boating locally here this weekend. Pyramid Saturday and Castaic either Sunday or Monday.

Thats it! Final count as of noon is FIVE. Every other boater is either here, or gridlocked somewhere on a freeway

Staying home this weekend so I can enjoy the headache of the Carlsbad beach. Should be fun, sitting on the beach, playing volleyball, watching the sites and then BBQing at the ranch.
Everyone have a safe weekend on the river.

I haven't been out to Havasu on a holiday for several years. The drunks and rookies can have those weekends. I went last weekend for three days and it was a nice mellow weekend there.

Just got in to Havasu. Seen some boats on the 40. But seen some big boats at the Chevron by Walmart. No boating for me this weekend. Maybe cruise down to the channel and look for Phebus. :D

Home, I don't do big weekends. More trouble then what it is worth. I'll be out there next weekend for three days, I think.

I'm on call this weekend. Gotta stay close to home. The good news is, the money's good and my new pool just got filled up last night. If I can get the big TV outside, I'll float while watching NASCAR!

I'll be bolting me new aluminum heads onto my 460 and setting up everything so I can go out wednesday. Can't wait for this it's taking 6 months to get this engine finished. Put the carpet and seats in last night even though it was hotter than hell. All new cables tonight and the finishing touches on it tomorrow so I can finish the engine before monday. :D :D :D :D :D

I'm outta here in an hour. I'll probably spend Sunday & Monday on the water. I think I'll plan to kick-back along the shoreline tomorrow @ the Islander.

Saw some great looking boats heading out of L.A. on the 14 as I was driving into work this am. We will be staying around town this weekend. We did the camping/boating thing last weekend, to miss the crowds. :D

Self employed guys like me can play whenever they want.
I choose to play when there is no crowd, therefore I skip the holidays.
Going to the USC game saturday, lay around and watch NASCAR and generally take it easy this weekend.
