Flag Island Labor Day Pics, Jackson, MS!!

Wife kids and I spent yesterday @ flag Island. Labor day weekend typically sees 10-11 houseboats and between 4oo-600 people. I'll just say we had a blast! Wife actually went out and bought a new bikini so I'm shocked! We left @ 5:30 am so we would be able to get a spot on the beach, and we got on of the last remaining on the beach! Boats where parked triple for awhile! We would have spent the night, but it isnt a kid friendly atmosphere after dark! Beer, Live bands, its a blast! The funeral procession from Ratliff ferry for the hogs was a blast as well as the "Memorial service" for the pics, caskets and all! I wish I had gotten some pics of the service! We would be going back out today, but I was invited to my boss's house for swimming and drinking!

This houseboat was kick ass! three bedrooms, an office, full bath, hottub on the front, (yes really) it was sick! The little oriental girl pictured who cant be more than 17 actually flashed half the island. She's just a lil too young if ya ask me!

This girl was jumping from the pontoon pictured onto my boat, slipped and fell. I watched the whole thing in slow motion. I could picture getting sued, lol! She hit her head on the pontoon deck and sliced her leg on my outdrive. Her BF said she had had one too many jello shots. I felt sorry for her so she got to sit on my boat, smoke my cigs and drink my beer for an hour.

Glad to see Flag Island is still kicking. :) I hadn't been there in 10 years. Defeintly some of the friendlys people you can ever meet hang out on that stretch of sand.
