Had a cse like that years ago. Super active 20 yr old turned into Quadroplegic as a result of stupidity and two story fall. Of course, the Plaintiff's lawyer blamed it on a faulty design of the escalator -- they said it should hve been designed so that you couldn't slide down the edge of it. He got some money, but I bet he would rather have had the use of his arms and legs.
