Mine were doing the same thing, took them to the dealer, they ordered new ones, painted them and installed, they said it was done under warranty...

I have the same problem on my 06. I took it in at 45K miles and they wouldn't fix it under warranty. They told me $500 and I told them to kiss my left cheek. I went and got some heavy rubbing compound and it took it out. I put some wax over it and it stayed nice for a few months. I'm just going to take them off.

That's why I use DriWash on my truck. :D Keeps the acid in car wash liquids off the plastic.

I had the same prob on my 04 i was going to have them cleaned but took them off instead very easy to do.esp now that it has warmed up.Park it in the sun after a while go and peel them off they come off very easily lil sticky stuff left behind but adhesive, bug tar,wax remover stuff took care of what was left then use a lil compound and wax it.
took about 20 min for the whole job
