It has a nice launch ramp. IMO the rooms arent that nice and neither is the casino. I try to avoid it unless there is no where else to stay. I try to avoid giving money to the Indians.

The Launch Ramp is OK.
Slips are $10 a nite, and no ($10) launch fee if you rent a slip.
The slips are archaic, and can easily damage your gell coat.
If you have a low freeboard boat, ya tie the bumpers high in most cases.
We used 8 inch bumpers or the flat bumpers are excellent too.
If you have a nice boat and are anal about gell coat damage, you tie to the cletes and dock structure itself, under the deck because the dock tie-down cletes are spaced kinda goofy.
Their is only vigilante control of wakespeed, so along with the high winds, you can get bounced around pretty good.
Security is casual, don't leave any valuables on your boat.
And don't leave the keys on or in the boat ignition.
Rarely any confirmed theft problems in the Marina.
Rumors from time to time,,,
The casino is tight.

the way the docks are set up, it is really hard to stop your boat from pushing forward into the walking part of the dock. I know someone posted something about their stereo and gear getting stolen last season there.
Last trip, I drove the boat over to watch a movie. I checked on it a couple of times and thank God I did. If you have big bumpers...............use them.

Yeah, your boat wants to drift into the dock there. That is a big headache.

$135 is cheap at the Bluewater on a weekend.
This is their off season.
If you have kids, they have a cool waterslide. Though the waterslide water temp is about a painfull 29 deg F.

IF you're just gonna sleep in the room at night, I used to stay at the Harbor Inn, up river just about across from the "narrows" going up to Parker dam, where all the rocks are. Anyway, it's clean, lots of room to park a big boat, the rooms are HUGE, kitchen included, close to the only decent place to eat ,IMO, at Parker, Havasu Springs. Casino food sucks!! Also if the strip is clogged with PWC's, as usual, it's a short pull to launch at the dam to the Lake, at take off point. It's a free launch, and I suggest you use the ramp on your right as you back inn. The far ramp has a LOT of loose gravel

If you launch at the dam you will be at the very far end of Lake Havasu. If you want to launch on the river, I'd go back down river towards Parker, maybe a mile at most, the 1st place you'll come to is , I think it's called river island state park, just up river from Buckskin. It's a really nice big launch ramp, in a semi cove so no current to deal with.

What are they getting for a Weekend nite?
The Paradise across the road and down a bit from the Harbour Inn usually has good food.
(not to be confused with the paradise at Echo lodge).

I liked it. Everyone said what needed to be said about the slips. Kids had a blast in the wwater park. Decent pricing and the place is not a total dive.

Not many hotels choices in Parker. Blue Water is pretty decent and security in the lot is good. Remember this is the river so it is not going to be the Hyatt. We have stayed there and would again. Put your expectaions on "River" mode:D
Best bet for sure is to rent from a board member. We have done that on 2 occasions in havi and it was great. Never do another hotel again, at least not in Havi. I am not sure you want to go back and forth from emerald to havi each day so maybe you can find a spot in parker to rent by day. Emerald is on the Cali side and you can't pull over the Parker dam so you will have to travel all the way into downtown Parker on the AZ side, cross the river then go back up the cali side to emerald each day. To find a house to rent post the question or search the spam folder. However, I would not hesitate on a few nights at Blue Water.

With kids ya can't beat the Bluewater
Pool with water slide, arcade, theaters, buffett,,
Nite time bar with band,, Cantina on the point,,
Launch ramp, Marina & beach,,
Reasonable bar prices,, or sit and drink on the boat.
Food quality is a coin toss,, and don't be nappin' pullin into & tieing up in the slips.
