I know somebody that will be first on the waiting list. :D
You're not joking! After 4 straight days on the boat w/ Lacey last week, her life jacket is toast from picking her up by it to put her in and toss her into the lake to float... that was a first... but she loved it! I've thought about those ramps from Petsmart/Petco... but I just can't pay $400 for one... his back will be fine :D

I'm thinking...put two hooks at the top of the ramp that you can snap onto the tie-downs on the transom right above the outdrive - the top of the ramp will be about +- 8 inches below the swim step. Your pup could easily step into the boat plus the incline won't be as steep:idea:
Riveroyal - you still awake?Sale, sale, sale sale...

ramp could be much smaller for storage as well. This is this issue with these things. You almost need to make 12 models to fit different hulls. Also I looked at the 400$ crap ramps at petco and other websites. They are junk,to make one fit up to your particular boat without it being a pain in the ass or damaging the boat is impossible.I can set mine up in about 3 to 4 minutes, which isnt fast enough with a dog going nuts to jump in:idea:

I hear ya, the minute we stop she wants out so we have to tie her leash to the passenger handle so she won't charge off the bow and scratch it. It was easy in Havasu, I just beat her to the bow, tossed a towel over the total front and off she went since we could beach. That was so easy. But when we float or in Parker is where we have the problem. We rarely beach the boat. Once she's on the swim step she will get in herself. But we keep towels EVERYWHERE to be safe :D You're creation is awesome! I can't wait to see the others...
BTW, I can't believe that's the puppy Sean saw at your house! He's huge now! :D

You need to make one that comes off the bow of any boat, and can be used to get up on the seawall in the channel. Like a draw bridge for the elderly, small kids or those with bad backs :D

Being retarded is what earned me the money to buy the boats to take the dogs to the lake so I guess it's all good for me!:) :) :) :)

Looks good. How long is it and how much does it weigh? Any pics of it folded up?
I have two french mastiffs in the 115 to 130 range. Would it hold their weight?

to go in to production soon!Yes it can hold heavy dogs, theres away to reinforce the ramp for large pups. The floatation holding the ramp when the dog climbs also needs to changed, also not a big deal.Looks like I need to get busy
