Mine was about 8 weeks as well. I have a hard time believing we have a shortage of qualified applicants for the license making positions but apparently we do.

After 30 minutes of playing with different ideas.. I went with RVRRACN (River Racing).
Someone I know held RVR RAT for 20 years and let it go:rolleyes:
I tried to get AAA to do it at the office, But they said I have a Nor Cal Policy. WTF? Oh well...C'mon 8 weeks!:D

Wow that's a long time. My plate is CALJAMR. I was in the Navy in 1985 visiting the Phillipines and I was young and missed California. There was this huge club called CALJAM and the place rocked and i thought that was a great name. So i got home and found that someone already had CALJAM so I added the R and figured it's for all the traveling i did in Cali. Then later i found out that CALJAMR was a name of a porn star. So every once in a while I get someone asking me "Is that CALJAMR as int he porn star?". I laugh and shake my head. :)

I think you are a little mislead ;) There are different funds and foundations that the $ goes to. not every plate benefits the tree huggers.
