It looks like I found some snowbirds. This is my first time renting the house. They have ref. for rental company they ususaly use. How much should I ask up front for a deposit, and I'm paying UTL's. What is the average cap one would put on electricity use. I've never used in the winter.
Thanks,
Matt

The rental company should be able to take care of the deposits and sort. As for the cap on the electrical we set ours at $100/month. They've never come close. I think the most it was one month was $75

Same here...but sometimes the bill has been around $130.00. So he pays the difference. :)

I'm not using a rental company. I'm looking for an amount I should ask for. They're staying for 3 months, older couple. I just don't want to throw up some outragous number and it pushes them away.

We get $1,250/month. 2004 3bed/2bath. And they get a spot in the garage.
