Battery went out GMC while we were at Disneyland, so AAA came out to jump us.
I asked the AAA dispatch operator; "What's the most tow'd vehicle under 2 years old ?"
She didn't waste a mili-second with her answer. It rolled right off her tongue.
Our neighbor above us runs the biggest towing service in this region of Ventura County.
I asked him what brand vehicle (under 2 years old) is the most tow'd vehicle?
Before the words were outta my grill he had the answer.
Waddya guess was the most tow'd vehicle under 2 years old?
(Be back in a few posts with the answer,, and I'm not knocking any brand, I'd still buy this line of Vech's)

My guess is Chevy/GMC for battery problems?:D :D :D Both my 04 2500HD and my Wifes 03 Yukon tossed off batteries a two years old. Left us both needing AAA.
Had a MBZ 300D (1987 300E but with the 6cyl diesel that came initially only in the large sedan) Went very well. But...Very expensive to buy and was constant trouble. So I would go along with your data research.;)

MB has actually been taking a hit on jdp since 1999.
Can anyone guess which model within the MB line is the anchor on CSI with JDP?

FYI, regarding Ford :
"DETROIT — Although Ford Motor (F) was the only domestic automaker to rank above industry average on J.D. Power's influential Initial Quality Study released Wednesday, industry watchers say domestic automakers remain close to closing the quality gap with import automakers.
Of the top 12 brands, three are owned by Ford, including Lincoln, which ranked third. Import automakers topped the list, with Porsche in first place and Toyota's luxury brand Lexus in second. "

I own a Towing service in the San Fernando Valley and we tow for the local MBZ dealer, My highest volume account, Most of the time the cars run but just have some sort of idiot lite on warning them not to drive.....
Maybe 40% of the cars we move have flats and don't come with spares!

Most who drive a mercedes(Doctors Wives perhaps?) are probably the last to change a tire. Check under the hood or even fill their own gas tank. A little light comes on, call Johnny the tow truck driver!!! I have to agree with the downhill part after the acquisition of Chisler!!
